Jesus, The One Who Always Keeps Us Safe in His Hands

We are born into a raging, eternal war. There are no guns in this battle. We can easily miss it if we are not keen. It is the war for our souls.

The devil is out to drag as many human souls as possible with him to hell for eternity.

His tactics are subtle, and his strategies focus on generations, not just daily moments. If we are lax, we are slowly drawn into his net. Before we realize it, we find ourselves in over our heads.

But there is hope. There is always an escape. A way out. When God rescues us, the devil and his legion have no choice but to release us. And so we have no reason to worry.

If we stay focused on Jesus, living according to His will and obeying His commands, He will keep us safe and rescue us.

Do not be afraid, for I am with you;
I will bring your children from the east
And gather you from the west.
I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’
And to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’
Bring my sons from afar
And my daughters from the ends of the earth—
Everyone who is called by my name,
Whom I created for my glory,
Whom I formed and made.”
Isaiah 43: 5-7, NIV

Prayer: Thank you Lord for being with me. I will not be afraid because you are with me. You created me for your glory. May I honor you in everything I do.
