The Bible tells us that at the end of the ages, the earth will be rolled up like a scroll. A time is coming when the world as we know it will be no more. When that time comes, those who have accepted Christ will be with Him in a new heaven and earth.
At this point, time will cease. The fates of all will be sealed for eternity. This knowledge puts a sense of urgency in my heart. Will the ones I love be found on the right side of judgment on that day? Will I be found on the right side of judgment on that day? We should ask ourselves these questions daily.
But there is hope. We can make the right choices while there is still time.. God is patient with us because He does not wish for anyone to perish. Every new day is a chance to grow deeper with Him and spread His love to others:
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9, NIV
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Matthew 24:14, NIV
The beauty of living in time is we get the chance to know and love Jesus daily, and tell others about Him. This secures our place in eternity and makes every day a joy to live.
Thank you Lord for the beauty of living in time.

Prayer: Thank you, heavenly father, for reminding us that time will cease. Thank You for every precious moment You give us. We pray for Your grace, boldness, and strength to use the time we have wisely, for Your glory alone. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
