When God made you,
He had a grand design.
He saw you in your mother’s womb,
And knit you together, every part in perfect harmony.
When God made you,
He saw how your life fits into the world.
He planned the very path you would take,
And is waiting to guide you all the way through.
When God made you,
He created a priest and a king.
He destined you for greatness,
And secured your victory on the cross in advance.
When God made you,
He made you His Eternal child.
He commanded His angels concerning you,
And nothing can pluck you from His hand.
God loves you. Now, today, and forever. I pray you grow and glow in His love, always.
The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”
Jeremiah 31:3, NIV
Prayer: Thank you heavenly Father for your great love. We are awed that you love us. Help us to love you more and more each day. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
