Coming to Jesus Just As We Are

Today’s devotional is inspired by an old song that goes:

Just as I am without one plea,
But that thy blood was shed for me,
And that thou bid’st me, come to Thee,
Oh lamb of God I come
I come

Jesus calls us today. We can go to Him in every state we are in. We do not need to be perfect.
Jesus accepts us and cleanses us. He heals and restores us. And we move from glory to glory.

Today, we are thankful that we can come to Jesus. We do not have to wait until we are perfect. He is the one who perfects us. Let us go to him today, in sincerity and truth, and watch Him make a difference!

Prayer: Thank you Lord Jesus, for accepting me just as I am. I am grateful that I can come to you as I am, and you restore and redeem me. I pray and trust all in your mighty name Jesus. Amen.
